Day 15….. (Life-Path 22)

The master builder, capable of large scale undertakings, business scions, people basically at the helm of huge industries. These are visionaries who have the ability to translate dreams into reality. Their childhoods are fairly difficult, due to the nervousness released by the master potential. Well into adulthood they will use their intuition and their practicality, to go beyond self and do something that will raise the stock of all humanity. The 14th Dalai Lama and Paul Mccartney belong to this life-path, just to give an idea, of the vast and varied potential of this path.

Traits to avoid or watch out for: They have amazing powers and hence must avoid the pitfalls namely over ambition, insensitivity, dictatorial demeanour. His attitude must always remain practical, and level headed. At the lower derivative of the 22 the 4 , all the weaknesses that apply there, remain relevant here as well.

All the life-Paths, have been revealed, and we must only note now, that the name number will be more overtly seen in the person’s character. In our day to day to life we resonate with our Name and the talents it bestows on us… let’s all awake to the true calling of our paths, and potentials; and leave our foot-prints on the sands of time.

Day 14…   ( Life –Path 11)

Life –Path 11, is one of the master numbers, a life-path with master potential to be a spiritual seeker. The Life-Path is again moon blessed, like the 2, so they are charming, and great peacemakers. They believe in the concept of an Idyllic Utopian world, and in recent times we lost Dr Wayne Dyer, a motivator par excellence, his journey in this lifetime was so very apt for the 11, a master IIluminator, who shouldered the higher calling of his Path. “How people treat you is their Karma, how you react is yours”.

Traits to watch out for or avoid: They may develop a nervous temperament, have a dreamy and impractical world view, join cults, or be part of difficult relationships. At one end you have Dr Dyer, at the other end we have Paris Hilton. An 11 , you may well ask? Some people may not rise up, and fructify their master potential. It’s always the person’s free will that will come into play, to rise or fall is always a matter of choice.

 Day 13 …. (Life –Path 9)

The most beautiful physical embodiment, of this larger than life number, is Mother Theresa. She gave and gave to society at all levels, having left her homeland Albania, at a very tender age, and finding her calling in India. This example can be looked upon as potential that the 9 in Life- paths have, to give tirelessly to making the world a better place; for me and for you and the entire human race. They must learn to give without expecting anything in return, ever. Now that’s a tough call, even for these mighty Martians. They are creative, outspoken, bold, frank, the kind who won’t hold back from calling, a spade, just that ! Politicians, lawyers, global artistes, may well belong to this clan.

Traits to watch for or avoid: These inhabitants blessed by the fiery planet Mars, have an impulsive and choleric temperament, getting into fights and arguments in a jiffy, may well be their undoing. Their heightened pace and energy levels make them prone to accidents, a little caution never did hurt.

The 9 are also prone into the self-adulation syndrome, and get extremely bitter, self- obsessed and harsh tongued if they find they are not being paid heed to.

Zenobia Edulkaka 27 Oct 2015

Day 12..   (Life-Path 8)

Most people whom be refer to as “to the Manor born”, may well belong to this Karma related life-Path. If not, we will see them grappling with economic or financial issues. Saturn blesses those that acquire status, power and authority through moral means. What goes around comes around, sums up the lesson meted out to the 8s. Head honchos, CEOs, business magnates may well be an 8. These people are blessed with great business acumen, they can be big builders, associated with infrastructure in some way.

Traits to watch out for or avoid: These people must be careful not to become obsessively driven by ambition, power hungry, as they make their way, through the corridors of power. Material power alone cannot bring joy peace and happiness; it has to go beyond material acquisitions. Hence balance could be the keyword for the 8s.Coz when you are dethroned, the fall is something similar to that faced by Indrani Mukherjea, an 8 in her both her name numbers, facing her nemesis in a Saturn ruled year.

Day 11…..  (Life-path 7)

This is the number that lets you climb the spiritual ladder, and access the beyond. This Neptune blessed path, expects its travellers to be curious, analyse down to the smallest detail, and not take the world at face value. A 7 could well make for a great detective, scientist, research person, spiritual guru among others. Generally a 7 is someone who comes across as having, wisdom beyond his years. These precision oriented people have much to give the world by way of knowledge, and an innate religiosity.

Traits to watch for or avoid: 7s with their tendency to not take things at face value, do not trust easily, and a trust deficit can create problems in day to day dealings. They can be thrifty with resources which is great but slipping the hand into ones pocket once in a while isn’t too bad, an idea. They love their solitude, because that’s when they do the best introspection and analysis, but this tendency can leave a family bereft of attention, hence something to guard against. Mary Kom is a classic 7, who has stamped the sports world, with her contribution, to the world of boxing.

Day 10….  ( Life –Path 6)

Here comes the ultimate spouse, father, sibling, and progeny. For a 6 the hallmark is responsibility, which he will happily shoulder till the end of time. For him his home is his haven, his family his life. He is home- proud and a connoisseur of the good things. He will collect beautiful artefacts from his travels and proudly display them in his warm cosy home. Venus reigns and blesses its inmates with an ability to do great community work. 6 is about being committed to family, Salman khan is a 6 in LP, he is the source the whole KHANdaan thrives on. Ratan Tata, responsibly steered and guided the empire, up unto the time he retired, in December 2012. He is well known for his philanthropic leanings.

Traits to watch for or avoid:

One may well ask, what could possibly go amiss with someone so perfect, why would his cookie crumble? His expectations from his loved ones may sky-rocket sometimes and he may just be too authoritarian as a parent. He may ask too much off his kids and spouse. He may interfere in the smallest little things and stifle those he lives for. He must give advice if and when asked for. These are also creative people at heart and make for amazing doctors, nurturers, home-makers, managers of restaurants, social service directors.

  Day 9… ( Life-Path 5)

A 5 in Life-Path has descended on earth to learn how to use his freedom constructively. He is blessed with a sharp and keen intellect, courtesy Buddh or Mercury. He has superior oratory skills and can sell almost anything to anyone. Life will roll out, before him, experience after experience, and he must know when and where to detach from it. Else he’ll be a bit of a rolling stone. He must go beyond the ADHD experience!!! The five is found in media, advertising, sales and marketing; as well as in public services. Anything that is not routine 9 to 5 appeals to his intrinsic versatility.

Traits to avoid and watch out for: A 5 must avoid addictions and the excesses, because he sometimes doesn’t know where to stop. He must work toward a routine, towards discipline and focus. He could well be the blue eyed boy whose life goes asunder due to being; too obsessed with the dark side. Dawood Ibrahim has a 5 at LP and Name Number Level. He maybe the the ISI’s blue eyed boy, but for India, he is but a DON. When someone uses his freedom constructively, you have a wonderful example to emulate, Azim Premji, is what a 5 is truly capable of!! This Czar of the Indian IT industry, made his millions, pledging away 25% of his fortune to charity in the year 2013, and more over the coming years.

Day 8…..  ( Life-Path 4…)

The adage ‘All work and no play could make Jack a dull boy’, couldn’t find a better candidate than the 4. He is conservative and conventional, but also, can be a fantastic organizer with his penchant for meticulous perfection. He could well be the support pillar for others to lean, upon. The 4 can be found in the armed forces, in accountancy and the ilk, in real estate; matter of fact and minus the frills this, Rahu or Uranus blessed soul, will always deliver on  a promise. General Sam Maneckshaw, who won us a  victory in the 1971 war, was a 13/4 in life- path.

Traits to avoid and watch out for: This fellow just needs to ease up on himself, a bit, he needs to bring in some fun and learn to relax, else anxiety will get the better of him. He needs to let his hair down, make time for loved ones even as he goes about life; in his no nonsense manner.  Also must watch for a tendency to avoid dogma, and get too rigid in his thought process.

Zenobia Edulkaka 16 Oct 2015

Day 7 … ( Life –Path 3)

A Path, amply blessed by the benevolent planet Jupiter, and their calling lies in learning the joys of Expression. They may excel on the marquee, as writers, singers, comedians, actors, even businessmen but with a creative bent of mind. They make for, exceptional life coaches or motivational speakers. They are the optimists of the world, their buoyancy, just won’t let them be down, for long, they’ll bounce back after every debacle, being ready to rise and shine. Robin Williams who entertained us over years, with his on screen antics, was a 3 in name number.

Traits to avoid or check: They have a tendency to indulge themselves and those around them. Judicious use of resource and planning for a rainy day come highly recommended. They live in the moment. Sometimes they scatter energies and are better at starting projects compared to completing them. They can make a conscious attempt to complete what they start. Remember what happened to the cricket, who sang the summer away, while the ants were busy preparing for a wintry day.

Zenobia Edulkaka 14 Oct 2015

Day 6… (Life –Path 2 )

If one is the power, 2 could well be the power, behind the throne. He is the mediator, the one who can handle and coordinate diverse groups. Blessed with a keen sense of aesthetics, and ability to pay attention to detail, he is the perfect counsellor or diplomat. Caring, compassionate, he thrives in being part of a pair, and is a bit lost when left to his own devices. Robert Vadra is a 2 in life-path, definitely not the head that dons the crown, but known to have the powers of mediation, in the corridors of power.

Traits to avoid or check: A 2 can lack in self- esteem, can be prone to mood swings, his path being moon blessed. They must look to maintain a balance in emotions and avoid taking criticism too personally. These sensitive souls it is said, can well die, nursing a broken heart.

Zenobia Edulkaka 12 Oct 2015

Day 5…. ( Guess you have your life- paths and name numbers now)

Now that we know how to derive the Life-Path, let’s take a brief look at the various Life-Paths and their implications.

Life-Path 1….

These are the solitary reapers of the world, Sun blessed, they are meant to forge their own trail. They must reach up and out, without depending on anyone for support, in their climb to the top. They must excel, achieve and lead from the front. They must be “the change” to usher in change. In whatever field they choose, they work best alone, or as those, who are at the helm of affairs. Some front runners, on this Life- path, Amitabh Bachchan and Dhirubhai Ambani. Amitabh Bachchan being a 19/1, forged his cinematic trail and encompassed all of humanity, whereas Dhirubhai Ambani had superb leadership qualities and biz acumen.

Traits to watch out for::

Oblivious to the needs of others

Lacking in tolerance and inability to see the opponents point of view

Mesmerised by fame and success and wanting to get it at any cost.

Be nice to those who you meet on your climb to the top, cause you will meet those very same people when your wings are clipped and your flight is done.

Zenobia Edulkaka 09 Oct 2015

Day 4….. (This is extremely easy, as is interesting)

The name number is very simple to calculate as well: We need to put down the person’s name and pick out equivalent numbers from the parallel chart. Let’s try an example or two.

B A R A C K   O B A M A

(2 1 9 1 3 2) + (6 2 1 4 1) = (18) + (14) = (9)+(5)= 14/5 in Expression.

Up next, The Baadshah of Bollywood:

 S H A H R U K H    K H A N.

 (1 8 1 8 9 3 2 8) + ( 2 8 1 5)

    (40) + (16) = 4 + 7= 11 in name number.

One more time, it must be reiterated that were 11 and 22 to present themselves at any point, the values must be preserved and not reduced further. Apart from these, the four numbers 13/4, 14/5, 16/7 and 19/1 must always be mentioned. If one were to go back a bit, you will notice the way in which Obama’s expression has been specified.  Now people you would have arrived at the two most important numbers in your numero blue-print!!!

3 Mantras that can change your life

Our relationship with sound is at the primordial level, we feel the vibrations at the core of our being and respond to it. We know that music can make us feel emotions without the need for lyrics. When we hear drumbeats, it is not just the ears that hear the vibrations, we can feel it in our hearts. Chanting is a part of many cultures and civilizations and actually pre-dates any formal religion or religious community. Chanting has nothing to do with religion or even a particular god, but more to do with vibrations and sound.

When we chant we create a vibration in our body and that vibration clears our chakras and our energy fields, it changes our thought patterns and we know the power of positive words and a positive attitude!

When we speak or chant a mantra, the words and their meaning is secondary. The important thing is the vibrations that produce the sound. And change occurs at a deep cellular level, where the meaning of words is meaningless. That is the power of mantras.

Mantra literally means a word or phrase that helps the mind (man) ferry across (tra) the ocean of emotions, pain, pleasure, anger, greed, lust, worry, ego etc. Chanting is an amazing way to stop our mind from going down the negative spiral. Ever tried to stop a thought? You cannot, right? But you can divert your mind and a chanting practice is a wonderful way of shifting your thoughts positively.

The rule of thumb for chanting a matra is 108 times for 40 days. Seems like a lot but it takes all of 8 minutes to do a 108 round. A chanting meditation is best but if you can add on singing/chanting them through the day it can really make a day glorious. In fact, some of the tunes are so lovely, you could just sing along anyway. Deva Premal's mantra music is amazing on the ears. And so is the chanting of the Gamelan Monks.

If you decide to do the mantra practice, be aware that you will be a master manifestor, so watch your thoughts and keep them positive.

Ganesha Mantra - This is often called the Root Chakra Mantra. It is related to basic needs of safety, security and protection. Many use it for financial stability or with things related to the home. And it is, of course, used when you start a new venture. But you can use this mantra for much more than that.

When things are not going right, for difficulties or obstacles, or simply for clarity of mind, try this mantra ‘Om gum ganapatiye namah’. The vibration of this mantra bundles all the disparate thoughts into one cohesive thought. And we know that when the mind has single-minded focus then all things are attainable.

It is referred to as the great obstacle remover mantra. The obstacles that the mantra removes are the ones in our mind, and as they clear, our external path clears. It is a great mantra for decision-making, especially when the mind is in conflict.

After a few days of chanting you will notice the absence of noise in your head. Some people claim that they can see better or sharper after the 40 day practice of the mantra.

The Ultimate Heart Mantra - For love, compassion kindness and gratitude there really isn’t anything like ‘Om mani padme hum’. The mantra actually clears all the chakras not just the heart. But it’s the heart where all healing starts from and it’s the first chakra it opens.

It roughly translates to ‘hail to the jewel in the lotus’, an ode to Quan Yin, the bodhisattva of compassion. Chanting this mantra is about invoking your own inner jewel in the lotus. The lotus is the symbol of enlightenment, as it grows in the mud, yet blossoms to it’s full glory.

The mantra is about being that lotus, of not reacting to the world around us but gently opening our heart and blossoming, irrespective of what our situation in life is.

As you chant this mantra you will realize that you feel less irritated at people, you will find yourself speaking more warmly to people, you will attract kinder, nicer people to your life. And you will smile a lot more

The most amazing thing about this mantra is the cool breeze that follows as you start chanting it. It is Quan Yin’s signature to let you know she’s with you. Keep watch for it, it’s quite incredible.

The Sikh Mool Mantra - This mantra is for finding yourself, finding or feeling the connectedness to self and to the universe around you, and finding that connect with the divine (whoever or whatever the divine may be for you). And for seeing and perceiving clearly, for headaches, ear ache and eye troubles. Called the mool mantra or the root mantra , ‘Ek Onkar, Satnam’, is the unity mantra that opens up the crown chakra and gets that connection going.

Associated with the crown chakra this mantra clears up your crown like no other. So if you are feeling sad or depressed, chant this one. Or if you are not feeling the love for your fellow beings, chant this. If you are suffering from hair fall, chant this - seriously, it's amazing for your hair!

It is multi-layered and roughly translates to ‘there is one universal god and ‘om’ is the truth of existence. And god is within. So chanting this mantra unites you with the god or the universal energy, which is within and without.

Day 3… (This is how it’s done)

How can we calculate our Life –Path number?

Let’s do it for a fictitious character born on 13th may 1960

First let’s take the month May (5) +Day (13 hence a 4) + (1+9+6+0)

We add up 5+4+7=16/7 in LP.

Let’s find out the Life-Path for someone born on 21/12/1993.

Here we add 3+3+22 =28/1 pure 1 in life Path.

I would like to draw attention to the fact that in the above example, we did not reduce year 22 to a 4. Reason for this being, master numbers 11 and 22 are never reduced to a 2 and 4 whenever they present at any level in a chart.

Let’s further drum this point with Aamir Khan’s birthday: He is born 14th march 1965. Let’s calculate the LP for Mr Perfectionist.

March (3) +day (5 from 14) + (1+9+6+5) = 3+5+3= 11 in LP, voila here we have someone with master potential. We would do him a disfavour, by losing this potential. Find put your Life-path, and stay tuned into musings to learn more about your specific path.

Day 2 :

The Expression or simply put, the Name number, is another heavy weight in the core of numbers each of us carries. With a propensity of 30% of who we are and what we become, it’s the next in terms of importance, after the birth vibration. This vibration can undergo change; at marriage, at divorce, simply because some people just don’t like their names or at the behest of a numerologist. Simply put, the name gives us the Talents to tread a particular path, the vehicle that will help us traverse the broad highway, or the Life-Path, we spoke of earlier. ( In the days to come, we will derive our own Name Numbers).

Day 1 Introduction:

The crux of numerology begins with the Life-Path, the number derived from our full date of birth. A good deal of emphasis is laid upon the Life-Path, 50% of what or who we are is a derivative of our Life-Path! The Life –Path is to be considered as the broad highway, we must travel upon, in this lifetime. Our opportunities for growth, in this life, will come from our LP. We simply have to make the most of them. We have no choice but to; submit to our purpose’ this time around, specifically as there is no way we can alter our date of birth. It’s also a great indicator, of the direction we need to move in, to make a success of our existence, to feel a sense of peace and true purpose. For ex: A 1 in LP must consciously move in the direction of achievement, of leadership, he must be the wind in his sails. (Watch this space to learn how to find your Life-Path)…The man in the picture pythagoras himself , gave us these insights long long ago, 570 B.C to be precise.!!!

Number Musings, in a lighter vein..............

The 1 is born off the Sun, were he to steer his steed, he will bring solace to his creed;.

The 2 must strive for harmony,he  wilts  from acrimony; his pet peeve ,wearing his heart upon his sleeve.

Next in the number tree,is the number 3,he's a merry trooper, happy in a crowd, if offended will wear his scowl like a shroud.

A bit of a bore, is the number 4,but wait friends, there's more; in the rough and tumble on the lawn,he.ll grab the bull by its horns.

Next up, the perky number 5,the problem being he may want more than just one wife.

6 is the compelling ''family man"',he needs to find balance in Numero parlance.

7..quiet and aloof, you can get away wihout showing him some proof,in worldly ways a bit strange, but from the physical to the Metaphysical he has quite a range.

"I want my power, status and authority, thats the straight laced 8, but what the poor fella gets is a matter of past life karma and present day fate.

Waiting in line is the fiery 9,upright and just but not particularly benign. The world is his stage, but never spar with him, when he's in a rage!!!!

Attitude determines the lifestyle of a person and it develops when perception is followed by projection. Positive and negative attitude are acquired by an individual over a period of time and according to their development. A positive attitude affirms life.

It's okay to detach and take care of yourself . . . in fact, it's necessary. And in the long run, taking care of your needs helps your loved ones, too.

An Inner Mandala contains elements that exist interdependently, and that interdependent existence of things happens in the fashion of orderly chaos. Making ones own Consciousness Mandala is like revisiting your own INNER PATTERN and restructuring it all over again.
